Formed in the summer of 2023, Joyrager is a 5-piece band based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founding members Ian Vincentini, Alex Hesser, and Atticus Fina had previously formed a band, "Guys Across The Street" in high school with drummer Nick D'Agostino and bassist Wyatt Boname. The band didn't work out, but the three teens knew that this was just the start of their musical journey. After writing and recording their first project, "The Plunge," they knew they wanted to play live, but without a drummer and keys/guitar player, they knew they needed some help. Enter drummer Matthew Olson and Keyboardist Zachary Jacobson. Vincentini had met Olson in class at Wesleyan University, and Hesser had known Jacobson from elementary school. Joyrager first performed on 9/4/2024 at The Zoo Bar in Lincoln, and knew that they had a love for live performances. The five knew that they had lots to improve on, and got to work. By the end of their first year performing, they had clocked in 26 performances. In May of 2025, keyboardist/guitarist Jacobson had to take a step back from the band, but occasionally subs in for live performances and helps with writing music. Enter bassist Alex Quible. Quible plays bass for the band "Subject to Change," a band for which Fina is the vocalist/guitarist, so he fit right in. Atticus moved from bass to keys/guitar, and the band hasn't looked back since. Joyrager released their second project, "JOY TO THE RAGE," in October of 2025. This project helped solidify the band's sound and overall image. Joyrager has lofty goals to continue to develop their sound, better their live performances, inspire others to create art, and eventually tour.
